Are you wondering what the most popular name of 2009 was?  You may be shocked by the results!  I have researched and found the top 5 girl names and boy names from 2009.
Here they are listed in order from most popular to least.

It’s interesting that all the girls names end in an “a” and most of the boy’s end in an “n” or “m.”  It seems to make sense that the names that end in “a” sound a lot softer and more feminine. While the boy’s names ended in an “n” or “m” seem stronger and definite.
