Albert Pujols, first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, and wife Deidre, welcomed a baby boy earlier this month. The couple chose to name him Ezra.
Ezra comes from the Hebrew origin meaning “helper.” Biblically, Ezra was a Jewish priest known for writing The Book of Ezra. The name has been becoming increasingly popular among men over the years.
This is the second son for the couple, who also have a daughter together and a girl from Deidre’s past relationship.
With the addition of another slugger in the family, Albert should check out the great baseball products available at BabyAge.com including the Fisher-Price Better Batter Baseball or the GUND All Stars Glove Chair. Whether it is baseball, basketball, or football, BabyAge.com has the products to make your little one an all-star.
