March 20, 2009 | Author: soulcenter | Filed under: Movie Names, celebrity baby names

Celebrities are known for giving their children crazy names. Whether you’re thinking of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Suri Cruise or Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s Zuma Nesta Rock, celebrities are the masters of coming up with odd baby names. For us normal folks, we prefer something a little more ordinary. Why not try naming your baby after one of your favorite actors?

Sean - Sean Penn is one of the only actors who can really produce an intensely moving performance. The outspoken actor played a lovable surfer in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” early on in his career but has grown in fame with such masterful works as “I Am Sam” and “Milk”.

Jennifer - Jennifer Aniston is an actress that everyone knows, even if you happen to know her better as Rachel on Friends. With her highly publicized relationships and her numerous film roles, Jennifer is a name that you just can’t forget.

Clive - Clive Owens recently just broke the top ranks of British superstars who are making it big in Hollywood. The British hunk with a deep baritone voice made his film debut in “Vroom” in 1988 and has now starred in such blockbuster films as “Closer” and “Duplicity”.

Keira - English beauty Keira Knightley made her first high profile appearance in 1999 as Queen Amidala in “Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace”. Since then, she has completed an impressive array of films including “Bend it Like Beckham” and the “Pirates of the Caribbean”   series.

Brad - Born in 1963, young Brad Pitt enjoyed sports, debating, student government and school musicals. Nowadays, Brad spends most of his time taking care of his beautiful children, creating fantastic movies and being with Angelina Jolie.

Lindsay - Lindsay Lohan is well known around Hollywood for her club girl ways. She began her career early, appearing in commercials for such products as Jell-O and Pizza Hut. She made her film debut in the movie “The Parent Trap” and has moved on to filming more movies and recording CDs.

Seth - Funnyman Seth Rogan has really made a name for himself. Starting his career off as a stand-up comedian at the age of 13, Seth has now starred in such comic gems as “Knocked Up” and “Pineapple Express”.

Gwyneth - Gwyneth Paltrow finally gained Hollywood’s attention when she was awarded the Academy Award in 1998 for her outstanding performance in “Shakespeare in Love”. Now married to Chris Martin the actress enjoys spending time with her 2 children.

Nicolas - Originally born as Nicholas Kim Coppola, Nicolas Cage truly launched his career as a punk-rocker in the movie “Valley Girl”. Now, he is one of the most successful actors in Hollywood with hits like “National Treasure” and “Gone in 60 Seconds”.

Mandy - Mandy Moore first decided she wanted to pursue a career in singing after seeing a performance of “Oklahoma!” She eventually cut a record deal with Sony and opened up for the Backstreet Boys. After producing music for some time, Mandy decided to try acting and starred in “A Walk to Remember” and “License to Wed”. Her biggest dream though is to perform on Broadway someday.

just fyi Keira Knightly didn’t play Queen Amidala in the Star Wars prequels, Natalie Portman did. Keira was however her body double.
