Most Popular Names of 2011

In a recent article posted on MSN.com, the most popular baby names of 2011 have just been revealed. Will this shine light as to what the most popular names of 2012 will be? If you or someone you know is expecting a child within the remainder of 2011, here are a few names to consider or recommend.

Rebecca Dube writes, “This year it’s all about two letters: A and N. For girls, the top five names all end with –a: Sophia, Emma, Isabella, Olivia and Ava. On the boys’ side, the –n ending ruled five of the top eight: Aiden, Jackson, Mason, Jayden and Ethan.” If you are interested in these names, here are the top four boys and girls names including meaning and origin.

Boys:

Aidan (Irish): A fiery young man
